Eugen Steiner, M.D.

Dr. Steiner is a partner of HealthCap and serves as CEO of certain companies in which HealthCap has invested. Dr Steiner has 18 years executive management experience, recently as CEO of Creative Peptides and previously as CEO of Affibody AB, Calab Medical AB, Eurona Medical AB, Melacure Therapeutics AB, PyroSequencing AB and Visual Bioinformatics. Until 1987 Dr Steiner practiced medicine at Huddinge Hospital, Stockholm. He became a specialist in clinical pharmacology and was active in pharmacogenetic research at the Karolinska Institute. In addition to his Ph.D. thesis in Clinical Pharmacology, Dr Steiner has published 24 scientific articles and numerous abstracts.
